As the kids prepare for their 2016-17 school year we are preparing as many backpacks full of school supplies as we can. These will be given to great kids who could not afford all of the supplies that will help ensure a successful school year. You can provide a backpack to a child in need through your donation of $30.00 to this meaningful and ongoing campaign.

Children First Ministries International is a not for profit organization created in 2009 in South Florida to fulfill the needs of children both in the United States and through out the World. The primary source of assistance began with shelter and food and has grown into an annual book bag project filled with school supplies for a year. In addition to the student’s book bags, boxes are also filled with school supplies for the teachers.

Since 2009, Children First Ministries International has directly touched the lives of children in 6 countries crossing all cultural and religious barriers. We recognize that there may be conditions that we cannot change, however, the opportunity for all children to receive an education and attend school with proper school supplies is essential to children everywhere. With the current success of a Learning Center project completed in the Caribbean in 2015, Children First Ministries International continues to raise funds through charity events and is building Learning Centers in low socioeconomic countries all over the world bringing educational resources to children in impoverished villages. C.F.M.I. currently has a presence in 6 countries.

In order to keep up with the growing need of educational materials in the Caribbean islands, the expanded vision of Children First Ministries International now includes a floating learning center, a/k/a/ “The Book Boat”. This “Book Boat” will travel from island to island, bringing new donated reading and learning materials, computer learning skills, school supplies and book bags as well as provide a safe learning center while in port. We are currently seeking out the opportunity of acquiring a donated vessel to transform into a floating learning center.
